Support Alan Henley of Aeroshell Aerobatic Team

A couple of months ago I was looking ahead to the Vintage Festival coming up at Barber Motorsports Park and the Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum in early October. I’ll be there again enjoying it and shooting some photos. I was hoping the Aersohell Aerobatic Team would be entertaining the crowd again with their precision flying over the park. I checked the website and saw that they are indeed on the schedule. Then I started to search the Internet for good photos of the team in flight. While doing that I happened upon news of Alan Henley, one of the team pilots and also from right here in the Birmingham area. It turns out he was injured severely in an accident at his home two years ago while playing with his children. He was paralyzed from the chest down. He has endured many surgeries and rehab, and his family has had to learn to function with managing his care and treatment in difficult circumstances. I cannot even explain how tough that must be for them all. So, I will link to more information, especially the CaringBridge website that has a journal which his wife, Jennifer, has written over the past two years. This is an amazing family and could use any kind of support someone might be willing to give to the Alan Henley Trust. I really do hope that everyone reading this will forward it on to others they know. We never know who might read it and how someone can help, but trust that God will put it in front of the right people. Thank you very much.
